Brittany has more than 15 years of experience in practicing intellectual property law within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and chemical sectors, including domestic and foreign patent preparation, prosecution and management, client counseling, strategic IP planning, opinion work and IP and business agreement drafting and negotiations. Prior to joining Hoxie & Associates, Brittany worked in-house for a small biotechnology company and at a large chemical company, responsible for their patent portfolios worldwide as well as their IP and business agreements, including structuring, drafting and negotiating licenses, research and development, services, consultancy, clinical trials, confidentiality, vendors and other business agreements. Prior to becoming an attorney, Brittany worked as a research scientist at Bristol-Myers Squibb and another CMO company, in the antiviral and cancer therapeutic areas as well as performed undergraduate research in the area of biochemistry.

Brittany is a registered patent attorney and a member of the New Jersey and New York bars. Brittany has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Wesleyan University, and a J.D. from Rutgers Law School.
